Team B and I want to remind you of our actual challenge, which is an "Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial" one as usual.
We would love to see your steampunk or industrial themed mixed media cards, tags, journal pages, canvasses, altered objects and whatever else you can imagine and create for our challenge! And by playing along you also get the chance to be picked as one of our two random prize winners of the prizes sponsored by DecoArt Media and boozybear!
To get your creative juices flowing Team B have prepared another bundle of inspiration for you. So check out their makes (and if you take a sec to leave them a comment on their blogs you will make them very happy!):
Steampunk and Tyvek - a magical connection.
Do you know Tyvek???
If you want to learn more about it,
you are at the right place!
I was inspired by the story of Captain Nemo
and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
to dive deep into the Kraken's lair!
Whirlpool swirls, lots of DecoArt paints, crusty rust, a Kraken...
and I love that Kerstin and I both played with Tyvek this month!
This Steampunk Bee Keeper bracelet started life as a lonely toilet paper roll
and through a creative mind, some leather paper,
and plenty of paints/sprays it was transformed.
Carpe Diem!
Well I have gone for a vintage feel this month using
Deco Art chalky paint and media paste's.
Boozy bear chipboard pieces a la blanche stamp.
A few embellishments to complete the piece
and its completed.
I recently felt the urge to browse and get out all my long hoarded found objects and embellishments and this inspired me to create some assemblage art in a box.

If you haven't seen the makes of Team A at the start of the month, I highly recommend you take a look at those too (by clicking HERE)!
The challenge is open until the end of the month and our Top 5 and prize winners will be announced on a Saturday shortly after the start of our two months long summer special challenge for July and August! In the meantime:
Hugs and happy steampunk craftin'!
