A hearty welcome to SanDee&amelie's challenge blog!

Please, note, that this challenge blog is not related to any business and run without any profit by people, who do this for your and their own leisure time fun! Our only reward are your encouraging comments and your playing along and sharing steampunk fun and mixed media techniques. We appreciate every single entry and comment so much! Thank you for taking the time!

If you are new to this place, please, know that we are so glad that you stopped by our little steampunk corner!
Whether you are a dedicated tag or card maker, art journaler or mixed media lover - this might be the right place for you!
For more information about the rules and the little "steampunk/industrial twist" we ask of you, please check the "about" stuff and then simply jump in and create!

If you are new to steampunk and not sure if this is "your thing", maybe take a look at our winners gallery on pinterest (use the linking button on our side bar). You will find that we're mainly a mixed media challenge blog with a little twist towards steampunk, industrial and/or vintage. So why not give it a try?

We are looking forward to seeing your fab projects entered to one of our challenges soon!

Mid Month Reminder, a Spotlight and May's Prize Sponsor

Servus, dear Steampunk friends!

Time to remind you on our actual challenge "Heavy Metal Steampunk" which is open until the end of the month. For more details click here.
All those who enter a project to either our 2D or the 3D collection get eligible for our monthly prize draw and maybe even make our Top3 - who knows! Of course we can only consider entries that follow the challenge theme and our general challenge rules. And they should be Steampunk of course (at least have a twist towards Steampunk)!

This month our generous sponsor is lovely Iris from Irishteddy's again! Thank you so much, Iris, for being with us and for helping make this place even more special :)

As always Iris is giving away a 10 Euro voucher to spend at her fabulous online store! So don't wait - join in! :)

But now on to our spotlight from the entries so far: it's a real stunning creation from Julia from Julia's Stuff!

She really knows how to create a rusted look just with the use of acrylic colours! And I love the colour scheme es well! Actually rust has never looked better than on this awesome piece I think! Thank you, Julia, for sharing this wonderful creation with us! Please, feel free to grab the spotlight badge for display on your blog! xx

That's it so far for now....you all know where to find the actual challenge, you have seen some gobsmacking entries so far and the inspirational hints from the DT - so let those gears start movin' and create! We would love to see your makes shared with us and learn about your steampunk style!

Hugs and happy crafting,
Claudia and the team xxx
