It's so great to have you all back and we have a lot of wonderful challenges in store for you ;)
We hope you all have been enjoying the holidays so far! We are sure that you all have got some awesome crafting goodies for X-mas....so this month's challenge is all about using them:
USE YOUR NEW STASH!
This is what we want you to do when you create your steampunk projects for our January challenge ;). Please, mention the new stuff in your post so we can make your entry count!
As usual we have two separate collections for the 3D and 2D makes and we have also managed to get some more wonderful sponsors on board for 2014! They will be introduced a little later this month - so come back to check it out.
The prize winner and Top 3 of December's challenge will be announced next Saturday (we are so happy that some of you found the time to play with us in December - despite all the X-mas preparations and festivities. Thank you so much!)
Now, please, welcome our first Guest Designer for 2014:
from Meresanth Krafts. Yay!
She has made the most wonderful steampunk storage for your inspiration:
Sooo terrific! Wow!
She also made a terrific video of this awesome storage, which can be watched over here. I recommend you watch it, as t reveals some specials the drawers do not show at first sight (and a bit of the how to as well ;). Thank you for this brilliant make, Meresanth, and for the video special too!

And this is what she tells us about her:
My love for crafting started many years ago with
jewellery-making, and that is probably where my love for all things metal comes
from. :) Recently I have been mainly drawn to paper crafts, however, and I have
found a combination of all of my most favourite things in the steampunk and
vintage styles.
I like using all kinds of true vintage findings in my
projects and it was no different this time, as my new post-Christmas stash includes
both some beautiful designer papers and some attic and junkyard findings. All
these trinkets needed a worthy place to stay, and so I decided to create a set of book drawers which will be their new home!

Thank you so much, Meresanth, for being with us and for your awesome inspirational projects!
Let's have a look at what the DT has in store for you:

Our challenge is open until the end of January. Please, make sure that you enter your project to the correct collection (2D or 3D) and most of all: have fun!
Oh, and just in case you forgot: if you want to be our Guest Designer, just add a "GD" to your name when entering your project with our challenge (and we will contact you then).

Thank you, Licho! :)
Alles Liebe
Sabine
Happy New Year to you both, lovely inspiring projects, Angela x
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for stopping by at my blog and I'm very sorry that my card wasn't steampunk. Honestly I thought it was just a name, didn't hear the term/genre before. Just a language-confusion. But I'll look it up on the internet and will try another time maybe ;) Have a nice day and good luck with your blog!
ReplyDeleteNo harm done ;)
DeleteWe would be happy if you will play with us again (and maybe also will find that you love Steampunk ;)
