As usual this challenge is not only an
"Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial"
Which means that there will be time until the end of August to join in and share your projects with us!
As my team and I will be on holidays too, please, allow a little more time for us to comment on your wonderful projects - we will do our very best to not have you wait for too long!
As always we will pick our favourites and two randomly drawn prize winners after the challenge has closed - only that this time we make an exception to our "not more than three projects per person and challenge" and allow up to five (!) entries for this once (just in case you are in full steampunk swing and can't stop creating projects that might match our challenge theme and rules...so keep 'em coming...;) ). All the other (few) challenge rules are the same as always of course.
The prizes that will go to two randomly drawn winners (among all proper entries) are this fab bundle of DecoArt media goodness that I have put together for you with the help of the lovely ladies from DecoArt:
and a surprise chipboard package with the most amazing steampunk designs by lovely Glenda from boozybear!
Let's start our Summer Special Challenge with today's round up of Team A's makes - and on August 1st we will share the second bundle of inspiration from Team B. So make sure you don't miss that one! And here - for starters - the projects of Team A:
made a "Steampunk Wish Box"
with her first hand sculpted clay head on top!
I love her Wish Box so much! Just look at all the details - especially the moustache and the pipe!
is ready for summer battle with her fantastically altered water gun!
So cool!!!!
(There is a full tutorial to be found on her blog! Just click on her name to get to her blog!)
altered bottle is a find from the bottom of the ocean - hence the kraken who sits on top and has claimed it as its lair.
has created some gorgeous "ATC Junk Mail for the Summer"
The perfect proof that summer and steampunk really go together well, right?
and
amazes us with a breathtakingly beautiful deep-blue-sea-coloured
shadowbox with a cameo as the focal piece.

Well, if that hasn't done the job of getting you into steampunk-summer-creative mode, I don't know what else will... ;) . But thinking of all the amazing projects you all have been entering to our challenges so constantly, I am quite sure that you won't need much more than a little nudge to activate your amazing creativity! Please, do take a little time to visit the blogs of my wonderful DT and leave them a little love there! Thank you!
The Top 5 and prize winners from the June challenge will be announced on Saturday, 8th July - so don't forget to check back then to find out if you are among them!
Well.....there's only one more thing to do and that's to wish you all the most fantastic summer holidays and loads of sunshine, fun, rest and joy! Happy, happy holidays, dear steampunk friends....
...and of course - as always -
Hugs and happy crafting!
