A hearty welcome to SanDee&amelie's challenge blog!

Please, note, that this challenge blog is not related to any business and run without any profit by people, who do this for your and their own leisure time fun! Our only reward are your encouraging comments and your playing along and sharing steampunk fun and mixed media techniques. We appreciate every single entry and comment so much! Thank you for taking the time!

If you are new to this place, please, know that we are so glad that you stopped by our little steampunk corner!
Whether you are a dedicated tag or card maker, art journaler or mixed media lover - this might be the right place for you!
For more information about the rules and the little "steampunk/industrial twist" we ask of you, please check the "about" stuff and then simply jump in and create!

If you are new to steampunk and not sure if this is "your thing", maybe take a look at our winners gallery on pinterest (use the linking button on our side bar). You will find that we're mainly a mixed media challenge blog with a little twist towards steampunk, industrial and/or vintage. So why not give it a try?

We are looking forward to seeing your fab projects entered to one of our challenges soon!

Hugs,

Round Two of our SASPC May Challenge

Hi, servus and welcome to our second round of sharing inspirational projects by the design team!

Our May challenge is an

"Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial"

themed one again and is open until the end of the month. Steampunk and industrial styled handmade projects of all kinds are welcome and it also even doesn't always have to be the "full dose" of steampunk - a twist of it will do the job as well. We want you to enjoy yourselves while creating and to have as much freedom as possible so you can spread your creative wings and have fun!

Team A have already shared their projects over HERE and the April Top5 and prize winners are being announced over HERE.

Two prizes, generously being sponsored by DecoArt media and boozybear are waiting for two lucky winners! You may enter up to three projects into our challenge and each counts as a separate chance for our prize draw. So why not get your creative mojo to work and craft away!

Team B have - like Team A too and as always - outdone themselves and created the most fantastic projects to spark your imagination!

- my "Queen of Upcyled Goodness" -
has turned some old cardboard rolls into a beautiful rusty
desk organizer for her brushes and pencils. She is always on the hunt for old stuff to turn it into treasure - and a treasure this has become indeed.

Just take a close look at how Kerstin paints rust and creates beautiful texture and drip lines!

let herself be inspired by a song that's been going round and round in her head lately.
She made a little folder to hold four ATCs, all inspired by the image of a steampunk heart in the sky.

...and another steampunk heart there is to come! This one is by

who has layered up a mixed media board in her usual and most amazing style
to create this beauty for you:

an amazingly embossed steampunk heart
on a fantastic background!

I
 - Claudia

have lately been into H.P. Lovecraft's world of the Old Ones and Outer Gods - like Old Cthulhu. Friends and I love to play Cthulhu pen and paper roleplaying games as well as board games. My project emerged from that - and from the bottom of the sea of course ;)

Oh dear! Great Cthulhu has awakened!
I hope he has just been disturbed by a dream and will fall asleep again
in his lair on the ocean ground! And let's hope he doesn't spot us!

More details and infos about the projects can - as always - be found on the design team's blogs.
You get there by clicking on the names. And if you take a little time to leave a short comment you will make the team very happy! Thank you!

We hope to see you play along and share some steampunk or industrial fun with us soon!

Hugs and happy crafting!
