Hello, servus and welcome back to today's announcement of our Top 5 and prize winners from our Steampunk/Industrial Winter Special Challenge!

We had - once more - an awesome bunch of amazing entries and we want to say a special "Thanks!" to all who took the time inbetween Christmas preparations to play along and share their fantastic steampunk and industrial art with us!

Steampunk Winter Special Challenge - Part Two

Servus and welcome back to part two of our winter special challenge

Our Steampunk Challenge Winter Special

Hello and servus!

As it is the 1st of November this means the start of a new Steampunk challenge!
Being aware of the fact that most of you are already in full gear with creating for Christmas we have decided to do another two-months challenge so it is more likely that you will want to make some time for a bit of steampunk or industrial mixed media crafting (or mabye even Christmas steampunk crafting...lol).

The theme for November AND December is 

-Anything Goes- 
Steampunk/Industrial

So as long as it is steampunk or industrial style you can create any kind  of theme and project you wish! From steampunk style Christmas baubles to non-Christmas steampunk cards to tags to altered objects or whatever else you would love to create - we want to see it all! Show us your industrial and steampunk styles and creations!

This challenge will be open until the end of December (so there's two months time this time to play along) and once more we have two prizes to give away to two randomly drawn winners (picked from all proper entries to our challenge).

And of course the team will vote their Top5 and these will be announced in the new year shortly after the challenge has closed.

Summer has arrived - yay! Time to finally get fuelled with good vibes and new energy from loads of warmth and sunshine! Time for ice-cream and barbecues...but hopefully also a little time for crafty fun and for stopping by our little steampunk-ish mixed media corner from time to time ;)

I love playing with tags - they are the perfect thing to experiment with. 

I also had a lot of fun hunting through the stamp collection for anything 

related to eyes...I found so many forgotten stamps that this led

I needed a special gift for a good old friend and I bought this bike clock. I have pimp up  it to an eye-catcher fit to their equipment on a shelf in her flat.

Hi everyone I transformed my son's glasses I don't think they will be
any use to him now though!

I really struggled with this as I had a vision in my head but it wouldn't 

materialise on the glasses.

I can't wait to see your creations and how you interpret the challenge.

A monocle it is! I wanted to try using Black Gesso for the first time and stay somewhat dark for this Eyes Tested piece. There is really an eye (stamp) behind the monocle. Carpe Diem!

Being a girl who loves to look closely to detect and understand the hidden mechanisms behind things (like human behaviour and interaction for example) this page is a very personal message from me to all of us. I believe that looking more closely before acting (or talking) might spare us a lot of hurt and disappointment. We just sometimes forget and rush forward, don't we?
