Team A will kick off our February challenge today with four inspiring makes to fuel your creativity and lure you into playing along, but there will be more inspiration on February, 15 as usual, when the ladies from Team B will be sharing their projects. We will also be announcing the Top 5 and prize winners from our January challenge then - which is born out of necessity (due to me being off on holidays before that date and maybe without internet over there), but I have just at this very moment decided to keep it that way from now on. This way the Team B ladies will be seen properly and you won't miss the announcement either. So the 1st and the 15th of each month will be your dates to keep in mind from now on ;)
The February challenge theme is once more
Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial
so you're free to create whatever you love most - as long as it is somehow steampunk or industrial style related. We love tags and cards as well as we love art journal pages, scrapbook layouts, altered objects, paintings, drawings, mixed media art and jewellery (and whatever else I haven't put on this list now because it didn't come to mind). So don't be shy and play along. By doing so you get the chance to either win this amazing DecoArt media prize bundle....
....or a surprise steampunk chipboard package from amazingly talented chipboard designer and artist Glenda aka boozybear!
All you have to do to get the chance to win one of these, is follow our few rules and share some creative steampunk fun with us.
But now on to the makes of Team A! Here we go!
has created this amazing steampunk mask
- perfect for February and the famous Cologne Carnival.
Look at those wings and the monocle! I love this to bits!
And she's achieved such a beautiful metal look with the DecoArt products, hasn't she?
beautiful, beautiful shadow frame box shows
"the key of time that opens the lovers' hearts"
(I loooove the colours and the patina tones against the reds on this)
made a steampunk panel from heavy cardboard.
She says
"I think I'll use it as a cover, but now it's still just good as a painting"
(I think so too. And just look at all the amazing texture!)
has titled her magical project
"The Home Key"
and I love the composition and the layers with the gauze and the book page to contrast
the rusty tag and elements!

If you want to make my team happy, please, hop over to their blogs (by clicking on their names) and leave a short comment there. You'll also find more images and info about the projects there.
Our challenge is open until the end of the month and can be entered via the inlinkz tool at the bottom of this post. I can't wait to see what you create! And don't forget to return on the 15th for more inspiration and the announcement of the January prize winners and Top5. See you then!
In the meantime
hugs and happy crafting!
