A hearty welcome to SanDee&amelie's challenge blog!

Please, note, that this challenge blog is not related to any business and run without any profit by people, who do this for your and their own leisure time fun! Our only reward are your encouraging comments and your playing along and sharing steampunk fun and mixed media techniques. We appreciate every single entry and comment so much! Thank you for taking the time!

If you are new to this place, please, know that we are so glad that you stopped by our little steampunk corner!
Whether you are a dedicated tag or card maker, art journaler or mixed media lover - this might be the right place for you!
For more information about the rules and the little "steampunk/industrial twist" we ask of you, please check the "about" stuff and then simply jump in and create!

If you are new to steampunk and not sure if this is "your thing", maybe take a look at our winners gallery on pinterest (use the linking button on our side bar). You will find that we're mainly a mixed media challenge blog with a little twist towards steampunk, industrial and/or vintage. So why not give it a try?

We are looking forward to seeing your fab projects entered to one of our challenges soon!

Hugs,

New Stash/Forgotten Stash - Part Two

Hi, servus and welcome back to part two of our

New Stash/Forgotten Stash

steampunk/industrial challenge! It is time for Team B to show their projects and share with us the reveal of their new or old stash they used. If you haven't already checked out the Team A makes I highly recommend you do so! And if you want to make my team really really happy, please, take a minute or two to visit their blogs and leave them a little love. ;)

Our challenge is open until the end of the month as usual. And as usual we are giving away two prize packages being generously donated by our wonderful sponsors DecoArt media and boozybear steampunk chipboard pieces. NOT USUAL is the fact that only this once you are allowed to also enter a make that dates back to January (as we are sure that you got some awesome stuff for Christmas that you already may have used on one or the other awesome steampunk or industrial project and it would be a shame to not share them with us over here).

But enough talk for now - let's take a look at the makes of Team B:

created this truly amazing steampunk doll
using new stash (her new DecoArt media products) AND forgotten stash as well
(the wooden doll frame)

went into the "SteamPINK" this month using her new Carabelle Studio
Steampunk Heart stamp and some cool Duck Tape her son gave to her as a gift. (she said that she got rather a strange look from him when she asked for Duck Tape for Christmas ;)
And last but not least she also found some forgotten boozybear chipboard pieces to use too!

Maura says: "A steampunk heart under pressure definitely needs a corset"

and I agree ;)

used an old book box alongside this fab new gentleman chipboard to
create this masterly home decor piece:

Dee

went for forgotten stash of embellishments

and new metallic pigments

and
I

- Claudia -

used my new Village Brownstone die I gave to myself for Christmas alongside
my old favourites - DecoArt Metallic Lustres - to create my "Little Metal Steampunk Home" ;)

***

What did you get for Christmas that you could show off with? Or did you recently find some old almost forgotten treasures on your shelves to create some fab steampunk mixed media projects with? We are soooo curious to learn about your new and old things from your stash - so play along and join in the fun!

Hugs and happy crafting!
