SanDee&amelie's June 2020 Steampunk Challenge

Hi, servus and welcome to our June challenge, dear steampunk and industrial style crafting friends!

I hope you are all well and safe and on your way back to (almost) normal in and after these crazy times!
Our June challenge is - once more - an

Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial

one - so you are free to create what brings you joy (as long as it fits the steampunk or industrial theme and follows our few challenge rules of course).

Our wonderfully generous and true sponsors DecoArt and boozybear are with us again - so the two prizes will be given away as usual after the challenge has ended. As always we will be picking our Top 5 and randomly drawing our prize winners among all proper entries after the challenge has closed at the end of the month and announce these on the 15th the month after.

Having said this, let's head on to the makes of my wonderful design team! If you want to learn more about how they've done their projects and what they've used, simply visit their blogs by clicking on their names. To get a larger view, simply click on the images.

is once more all into her favourite summer theme - the Sea!
And she really knows how to beautifully combine it with a steampunk theme!!!!

"Sea calls me"
is the title of her beautiful canvas
and as always she has created loads of amazing texture and structures.

went for a beautiful symmetrical lay out this time.
I love all the layers she has built up on the black page
(and especially those mechanical corner pieces)!

embellished her giant cog with a
"mechanical chameleon"
and other yummy stuff.

And as usual she went for a striking and bold colour scheme!
It shows beautifully that steampunk does not always have to be
brown and metallic, right?

wowed me once more with her imagination
and created loads of amazing copper patina
on her beautiful treasure box

Was this found in an old ship wreck?
What is hidden inside?

and I

- Claudia

have created a birthday tag for a special friend.

Of course it had to have loads of crackle and my favourite colour scheme
for industrial style makes and I have used DecoArt and DecoArt media paints
and products to achieve it.

If you have a little time, please, leave them a little love too. Thank you!

The challenge is open until the end of the month and we are back to our usual three entries per person. Please, do not forget to link to our challenge blog - whatever platform you are entering our challenge from (it always breaks my heart when I have to exclude an entry from our Top 5 picks and prize draws!).

If you check back on the 15th you will find out about the Top 5 and prize winners of our May challenge.

Hugs and happy crafting!
