SanDee&amelie's February 2019 Steampunk Challenge

Hi, servus and welcome to the start of our February challenge, dear steampunk and industrial style mixed media, card and tag making friends!

As I am struggling with a nasty cold (and a sore throat and heavy headache therefore) I will do this post succinctly (which is quite rare with me...I know...lol).

Our challenge theme is - as always -

Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial

and everything you should know about playing along can be found in our challenge rules (see pages tabs below our blog header). If you aren't sure and would like to avoid being excluded from our prize draws or Top5 votes, make sure you check them out.

Our two generous sponsors

and

are with us again this year - so there's a prize bundle of DecoArt premium products and acrylic paints to be won as well as a fab steampunk chipboard surprise package! All you have to do is play along and make sure you are following our few challenge rules to become one of our two prize winners ;)

My wonderful team have created a fab bundle of inspiration for you and if you want to get even more inspiration I highly recommend you check out the makes of our players and the Top 5 as well. This is a place where we all want to inspire, get inspired and share our love for steampunk and industrial style mixed media art - so why only focus on the actual challenge?

Our challenge is open until the end of the month and on the 15th of the following month prize winners and Top 5 get announced (so make sure you return on 15th February to find out about the ones of our January challenge).

But now on to the design team projects! If you want to learn more about a project, please, click on the team members' names and you will be taken to their personal blogs where you will find more pictures and one or the other info on products or techniques used. And if you can spare a sec or two, please, leave them a little love and make them happy. Thank you! ;)

made an amazing set of ATCs,
using Neon paints, pulleys and clock bits

On this one she used part of an old watch band (how inventive!)

followed her heart

and created some yummy steampunk texture!

was inspired by February's Valentines theme
and created a new spread in her art journal

combined some of my favourite elements on her beautiful project:
yummy crackle, a lovely vintage photograph, stencilled texture and rusty tones
and beautiful colours

"Industrial Tag"
is great fun and pure eye candy!

and I

have come up with a fun tag as well...

...and maybe also my worst pun ever...lol
(To make up for this I have done a full step by step for you
over on my blog).

We hope to see you play along with us soon and also return on 15th February for our Top 5 and prize winners announcement for the January challenge ;)

Hugs and happy crafting!

      Bisous,
      Claudia xxx
