Steampunk Winter Special Challenge - Part Two

Servus and welcome back to part two of our winter special challenge

Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial

We have already had some wonderful entries but as our challenge is open for another month (=until the end of December), there is still the chance to join in and maybe not only make our Top5 but also win one of the two prizes sponsored by

http://www.retrokraftshop.pl/en/

and

http://www.lablanche-shop.de/shop/

All you have to do is enter one (or up to three) project(s) to get eligible and become one of the two randomly drawn winners! (the inlinkz collection to enter your makes to is at the bottom of this post).

Team B and also some of my wonderful ladies from team A have put all their creative forces together to create another amazing bundle of inspiration for you!!!

I love to make Steampunk Jewellery and I adore working
with really tiny cogs and gears - so an 'Anything Goes' creation
was the prefect time to have a go at altering this pendant.

Do you need an idea for a christmas gift?
How about a shadow frame for a one and only photo from you :-)
or you added a hook for keys?!
more details can you find on my blog
I wish you a creative & peaceful advent time!

Susan

I imagine that I have found this in the attic of my grandmother's old house...

I have been wanting to create a Steampunk Christmas tree for my home and thought I should probably get started on some one of a kind ornaments. Using DecoArt products, embossing powders and alcohol inks, I created this star ornament. Rusty goodness! Happy crafting and Carpe Diem! ~Niki

I've recently discovered gold clockwork elements are naturally
Christmassy in character. So I decided to make a steampunk heart holiday decoration with them. You can read more about how I made the background on my blog. :)

Claudia

I know there are still twenty-three more days to go...but with all the wonderful steampunk-Christmas goodness on our blog today I can't help but wish you all a wonderful Advent season and a joyful time with your loved ones!

Merry Christmas!

Our Steampunk Challenge Winter Special

Hello and servus!

As it is the 1st of November this means the start of a new Steampunk challenge!
Being aware of the fact that most of you are already in full gear with creating for Christmas we have decided to do another two-months challenge so it is more likely that you will want to make some time for a bit of steampunk or industrial mixed media crafting (or mabye even Christmas steampunk crafting...lol).

The theme for November AND December is

-Anything Goes-
Steampunk/Industrial

So as long as it is steampunk or industrial style you can create any kind  of theme and project you wish! From steampunk style Christmas baubles to non-Christmas steampunk cards to tags to altered objects or whatever else you would love to create - we want to see it all! Show us your industrial and steampunk styles and creations!

This challenge will be open until the end of December (so there's two months time this time to play along) and once more we have two prizes to give away to two randomly drawn winners (picked from all proper entries to our challenge).

These will be generously donated by

Retro Kraft Shop

http://www.retrokraftshop.pl/en/

and

La Blanche

http://www.lablanche-shop.de/shop/

And of course the team will vote their Top5 and these will be announced in the new year shortly after the challenge has closed.

There will be a second bundle of inspiration for you on our blog on December 1st but for now I am very proud to present to you my team's projects for November:

Brigitte

An altered jumbo puzzle.
Cogs, image, charms, spring, light bulb...
more details on my blog

If I have aroused your curiosity then unfold the accordion book on my blog ...

Agnieszka

There's never enough gears and never enough boxes to store them
- that's my motto. ;) So I altered another wooden box and in went clockwork.
You can see more close-ups and a few words on the technique used on my blog.

NATE

Bonjour à toutes ,
Carnet voyage im time
je vous invite a venir découvrir les détails sur mon blog .

I love alterations, gold and teal colours. I made this time makeover of little clutch bag decorating it by metal and fabrics steampuk feminine style.
More detail you can see at my blog, you're welcome!

And remember: "Anything Goes" for November and December - be it steampunk or industrial or even some steampunk-ish Christmas spirit gracing our little steampunk challenge corner! I am sure you will once more surprise us with your imaginative and inventive interpretations of steampunk art and crafts!

You will find our linlinkz collection for entering your project at the bottom of this post.

And don't forget to check back on the 14th November to find out about our Top5 and prize winner of the "Top Hats and Moustaches" challenge! We loved all the projects so once more choosing our Top5 is going to be hard!

Hugs and happy crafting,

Mid Month Reminder - Top Hats and Moustaches

Servus and welcome to our mid month reminder post for the actual challenge

Top Hats and Moustaches!

It's Team B's turn to share their projects today and you really would make them very happy if you visited their blogs and maybe even left a short comment there. You get to their blogs by clicking on their names. For larger views of their projects simply click on the images.

Hi everyone I did my piece for the blog using Tando
creative Chipboard clock and circle.

I used Deco Art Media paints and mediums to create it also
Frantage embossing powders.

Full details on my Blog,.
Why not have a go and join in with us this month.

my idea was to made a card (15x15 cm) in mixed media style
''I'm heavy on wire'' really simple and fun
for a friend to tell him
Don't worry, be happy!

I still can't quit doing Halloween themed projects - so this time even my make for our Steampunk challenge had to be a spooky art journal page! And doesn't that top hat suit Mr. Skeleton well!

I am enjoying Halloween so much I just had to add a skull to my Steampunk design! Meet Mr. Debonair! He sports a handmade top hat and a wonderful, curled moustache. I wanted to work with a limited color palette so chose white, black, silver, and a punch of red. Carpe Diem! ~Niki

Didn't promise too much, did I? ;)
Our challenge is still open until the end of the month and our randomly chosen winner will receive a prize from Inspiration Emporium this time! So go for it!

You will find the inlinkz below but if you haven't checked the makes of Team A first, which you can find over HERE, I highly recommend you do so. The linkie is there as well.
