Tag it! - Mid-month Reminder

Servus and welcome back to the presentation of the tags of Team B which is not only meant to provide you with additional inspiration but also to remind you that our actual challenge

"Tag It!"

is open for two more weeks (i.e. until the end of the month). We want you to create one (or more) tags in steampunk-, vintage- or industrial style and it is totally up to you which techniques and media you use. Maybe get out one of your almost forgotten favourite steampunk stamps for example...??

This month's prize is sponsored by

http://www.bastel-welt.de/index.php?info=schobes

who are giving away a voucher for shopping with their wonderful online store to one winner (whom we will - as usually - randomly draw among all proper entries).

And now on to the tags the ladies from Team B have made! They all have once more put a lot of love and labour into creating a bundle of fabulous inspiration for you! (And if you haven't yet checked out the tags Team A have done, I highly recommend you scroll down two posts and get another dose of wonderful steampunk inspiration)!

Hi everyone I hope you have all had a good summer and are
ready to join in with us here at SASPC with
our create a tag.

I used 2 Tim Holtz texture fades  and all Deco Art
media products.

Andy skinner stencil and stamps plus Tando creative
chip board cogs.

So why not come along and play with us let your imagination
fly and see where you go. If you would like more
details on my tag pop over to my Blog.

I wanted to show a more feminine version of Steampunk so butterflies and a handmade bow are front and center on this tag! Feel free to check out my process if you would like to know more. I can't wait to see what you all create! Hugz ~Niki

Metamorphosis - from a ravenous caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly
Time makes it possible, that was my inspiration for a tag with metallics and 3D effect.

Laura

One of my favorite things at the moment is to use metallic silver and rust paint.
I think of it as a 'before and after' effect!

Do tags or not do tags - that is my actual question. I admit for quite some time I didn't find this format attracting anymore but at the moment I really enjoy doing tags as they are the perfect format to get back into the crafty saddle after a long mojo-less time. And who says rubber stamping, mixed media and tags can't be combined? On my tag I used rubber stamping alongside one of my almost forgotten favourite Tim Holtz background techniques and acrylic paints, walnut ink and other mixed media.

The challenge is open until the end of the month and we would love to see your tags! We would be very happy if you took a minute or two to take a break from Halloween crafting and shared a tag with us!

Hugs and happy crafting,
Claudia & your SASPC team
