A hearty welcome to SanDee&amelie's challenge blog!

Please, note, that this challenge blog is not related to any business and run without any profit by people, who do this for your and their own leisure time fun! Our only reward are your encouraging comments and your playing along and sharing steampunk fun and mixed media techniques. We appreciate every single entry and comment so much! Thank you for taking the time!

If you are new to this place, please, know that we are so glad that you stopped by our little steampunk corner!
Whether you are a dedicated tag or card maker, art journaler or mixed media lover - this might be the right place for you!
For more information about the rules and the little "steampunk/industrial twist" we ask of you, please check the "about" stuff and then simply jump in and create!

If you are new to steampunk and not sure if this is "your thing", maybe take a look at our winners gallery on pinterest (use the linking button on our side bar). You will find that we're mainly a mixed media challenge blog with a little twist towards steampunk, industrial and/or vintage. So why not give it a try?

We are looking forward to seeing your fab projects entered to one of our challenges soon!

Hugs,

Show Us Your 2016 Favourites! - SanDee&amelie's January Steampunk Challenge

Hi, servus, salut and welcome to our first challenge for 2017!

Naturally crafty blogland sees a lot of "year in review" posts these days and we thought we'd join in and have you and the DT share their three favourite steampunk or industrial mixed media projects from last year.

"My 3 Personal 2016 Favourites - Steampunk/Industrial"

is our challenge theme for January therefore.

So all you have to do to play along this time is to write up a new post on your blog featuring three (not more!!!) of your favourite steampunk or industrial style projects you made in 2016. They don't have to be ones that have been made for or entered into one of our challenges though - but they have to be steampunk or industrial style projects. In that post, please, link to this challenge and for your chosen projects show an image each and links to the original posts on your blog, so the DT and our players can have a closer look at them. We are so curious to see what your picks will be!

The Top 5 and prize winners from the December challenge will be announced on Saturday, 7th January - so stay tuned!!!

To make it a bit more interesting for the DT I allowed them to pick their three favourites among all projects they have made as a member of SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges so far. So lovely Brigitte, for example, had to browse her DT projects that date back to November 2013! Wow! I am so happy that she is still with me and I hope she will be with me on this adventure for the next (at least) three years (and all my other fantastic teamies too of course!!!) ;)

Team A is kicking off the first challenge of the year by presenting their personal three favourites and don't miss Team B presenting theirs on the 15th (which brings us back to posting business as usual). So let's raise the curtains for some oldies but goodies! Yay!

We have added the links to the according project posts below the images so you can (re)visit them and learn more about any details or how-tos.

Nate's first pick is her first winning project that she made for SASPC in November 2014.

I can't wait to share with you the Team B picks!!!! I loved revisiting Brigitte's, Nate's, Zoja's and Susan's terrific projects as it made me so proud of having such a fantastic DT to call my own!!! Now I can't wait to see what your picks will be! The challenge will be open until the end of the month as always and of course there are two prizes to go to two lucky (randomly drawn) winners - once more sponsored by our fantastic sponsors

DecoArt Sponsor Badge

and

All you have to do to get the chance to win one of these or maybe even make our Top5 is to play along and share your three favourite steampunk projects from 2016 with us (the detailed explanation is to be found at the top of this post. Also make sure you check our few challenge rules if you haven't already done so, so we don't have to exclude anyone from prize draws or Top 5 votes. Thank you!).
